I have taken care of animals, dogs in particular, for close to 10 years. I have worked in two different doggy daycare environments as well as in a shelter and kennel environment. I have experience with walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for your dog as if they were my own pet. I understand, love, and respect how each pet it such an intricate part of the family and I would be honored to serve and care for that member.

McKayla has helped us so much with our new rescue dog. Because he is very energetic and is a mutt that looks like a bully breed many people are afraid of him but not McKayla. It was an instant connection. He loves to be with her and she is awesome with him. We have had her stay in our home on numerous occasions and she is entirely trustworthy. Give her a shot. McKayla is great with animals! She’s a very responsible person in general but especially when it comes to caring for others pets. She recently got a dog of her own and has been integral in helping train. I can trust her to dogsit for me and do a great job of taking care of her!
McKayla is our go-to for watching my two miniature dachshunds. During the time she's pet-sit, McKayala kept the house neat and stayed in communication with us on, eliminating the stress of leaving the dogs behind. Above all, McKayla is trustworthy and a true dog-lover (our dogs love her too!) I recommend her and will definitely use her in the future!

I plan on keeping the pets inside or on a leash at all times if we are outside to keep the pets safe. If I need to take the pets out and your home is not fenced in we can take them on a short walk to make sure their needs are still met.

The best way to serve you and your pet is by letting me know ahead of time either over messages or at our meet-n-greet if your dog has any allergies, recovering injuries, special needs, medications, temperament, or anything else that needs to be addressed before you leave your pet in my care.
A typical day
I love to make sure the dog is just not away from mom and/or dad and just sitting around being a couch potato… unless your dog is one and if that’s how they wanna spend our time together I would oblige. But if your pet is energetic, perky, and always down for an adventure we can take a trip to a local dog park or go to the closest and safest walking path to get out and explore different areas, like the Arboretum, that your pet may not see on a daily basis. And it wouldn’t be a doggy vacation unless your pup gets a pup cup from their favorite place.

Availability
I am currently working in the afternoons and evening but I can stop by to see your pet in the morning and later that night to get in their socialization or daily walks depending on the services that are needed.
