Pet care experience
I have experience taking care of several different types of animals; including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and reptiles. My own pets are all rescues; they have taught me the best ways to care for animals who can be timid, fearful, aggressive, or wanting constant attention. My miniature pinscher has diet restrictions as well, and when I first adopted him I had to administer medications. Whatever your pets needs, I am happy to make sure they are completely taken care of. I'll always make sure to update you with photos, so you can feel comfortable that your pet is getting the play time and cuddles that they deserve! I am super excited to spend my days with your fur babies!

Mckala was wonderful. I got pictures and updates every day. It was wonderful to know that my fur babies were being spoiled and were happy and well taken care of while I was gone. I will definitely ask Mckala to take care of my busy home again when I am gone. 2 dogs, 3 cats and all are happy, healthy, and well taken care of.
McKayla was awesome with our dog. Checked in when she got there and let us know when she's left and took plenty of pictures. Our dog loves her and we will be using her again.
McKala was the best caretaker for my kitties while i was away!! She gave them undivided attention, love, play time, and comfort while i was away!! McKala provided daily updates, pictures and reassurance that my cats were getting 100% attention!! Me and my kitties cannot thank McKala enough for a wonderful experience!! A++++ rating!!!

I have 4 pets of my own, two dogs and two cats. They're all used to being around other animals, and are super excited to make new friends! I am not currently able to offer stays in my home, but if you would like for either of my dogs to come spend time with yours, just feel free to let me know and we can have a meet-and-greet! For Drop-Ins: While I’m at your home, I will take care of the basics such as food & water, outside potty-time, cleaning the litter box, giving your pets love and attention, and playing any of their favorite games with them! On top of that, I can administer medications or supplements they may need, keep an eye on any health concerns, take them on short walks, work with them on any training you’ve been doing, or anything else they may need. I also offer Bath & Brush, Nail Clippings, or 30 minute walks for a small extra charge. 😊 For Walks: I have experience with all sizes of dogs, as well as cats. If you are currently working on any training, commands, positive reinforcement with treats, etc. I will make sure to use those while on the walk to give you and your fur baby the best experience! I have trained all of my animals myself, so I understand the importance of consistency if you are working on training. I can walk them around in all their favorite places, giving them the chance to enjoy the smells and fresh air. If there is a dog park nearby that they enjoy, we can go there as well! Just let me know where they enjoy the most!

Please let me know if your pet: - Can or cannot have treats! If allowed, I love giving treats! I can also accommodate any diet restrictions. ? - Has special needs or behaviors I should know about; including physical/mental health issues, how I should take care of them, things I should avoid, etc. - Is reactive. Are there certain things they are reactive to? (Such as being picked up, noises, children, other animals, triggers from past trauma, etc.) How do you usually comfort and de-escalate them? - Is an escape artist; such as fence jumping, slipping through the door, etc. - Pulls or barks constantly on walks; we can discuss training techniques I should continue, if you would like. - Thank you!!
A typical day
I can’t wait to get to know your fur baby and figure out what things they enjoy best! If your pet is full of energy, I’d love to play games with them and even try out some new tricks! And if your doggie is more laid back and chill, I love cuddles more than anything! If they have a favorite place they like to visit on walks, I’d be more than happy to take them there!

I am currently working a very flexible part time job. The rest of my life is spent with my own animals, but I always find myself with extra time; I'd love to devote that to giving your pet all of the love, attention, and comfort that they deserve while they're apart from you.
