Pet care experience
I started pet sitting when I was young and expanded into the veterinary world! I’d love to add to that by caring for more pets in my neighborhood! I have experience with all kinds of species, special needs, and extra requests. Let me know how I can help!
Reviews
McClellan is really amazing!! She has watched my cat a bunch of times. My kitty really loves her and she clearly has a way with animals (and she takes really cute pics). I could not more highly recommend someone!
McClellan was not only an extremely courteous house guest but also a very attentive dog sitter. She stayed with our two GSDs for 5 nights and I felt very comfortable that they were in good hands the whole time. She kept me updated via text and photos each day. She also was very receptive to some of the special care instructions we gave her for our more high-maintenance pup. I highly recommend booking McClellan! We will definitely use her again! :)
McClellan was awesome. We have an anxious kitty and she was sensitive to him, giving him the space he needs while attending to the other’s more social needs. She communicated with us throughout the stay, including pictures. I really couldn’t be happier with her! Will 100% recommend her!
There is no one I would rather leave my GSD with than Clell. She went above and beyond while I was out of town on a business trip. I have used her multiple times and wouldn’t think of changing sitters. She also sent me picture updates which she was not required to do. Gave me a sense of peace.

I love getting pets engaged in their favorite activities whether it be walks, playing with toys, brushing, or just snuggling on the couch! I love learning what each pet loves to help them feel comfortable with my care. I get very attached to each pet to help them have as close to their normal routines while their parents are away.
Information McClellan L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has a strict routine, takes medication, or need to have anything special needs tended to while in my care. I know not every pet is people or animal friendly, and I’m fine respecting that. I’d rather then be comfortable than for me to try to push their boundaries. They already know a “stranger” is with them while their parents are gone, so anything I can do to ease that stress is worth doing!
A typical day
I like to stay close to each pet’s typically routine. Any food or medications needed will be given at their scheduled time. I try to let dogs out before and after their meals for a good stretch and some mobility. If able, I’ll exercise dogs with play or walks. For cats I like to get them engaged with toys and brushing. If I’m not working at my hospital I’ll hangout with pets all day or go run some errands and return quickly, so dogs can be let out. I try to leave dog or cat tv on while I’m gone to keep background noise available and help relax each pet. Let me know what your baby’s favorite activities are!
