Pet care experience
My family loves animals, especially dogs. I've been around dogs my whole life, playing, walking, bathing, training etc. Since relocating to Illinois last year, I have not had the opportunity to interact much with animals, besides looking after my friends' cats and dogs occasionally. I miss having furry creatures around!

Mayumi is awesome! She took the time to get to know Roxie and bond with her at Roxie’s own pace. She took care of her so well and just gave us so much peace of mind. It was so nice not having to worry about her and knowing she was so well taken care of. Roxie received so much attention, cuddles, and patience. Mayumi is so respectful and kind!!! I cannot even truly express how thankful and grateful I am!! Thank you for treating her like she was your own ?❤️ She sent lots of pictures and videos of their fun time together. I will definitely continue to have Roxie stay with Mayumi when we travel or even for a day of fun so that they can continue to bond together and I will recommend her to anyone I know! Thank you again Mayumi!!
Mayumi is a delightful person and was a wonderful caregiver for our little fox terrier pup, Lexi! As an old lady, Lexi has her quirks which Mayumi quickly learned and accommodated and made sure that Lexi was comfortable and happy for her stay. Lexi had a lot of recent changes in her life and we were concerned about her being in a quiet and non-stressful environment. Mayumi's calm demeanor and attention to Lexi's every need was a perfect place for Lexi to stay. Cannot recommend her highly enough!
Mayumi was an amazing sitter. I’m always nervous leaving my dog given he’s (very) old but she was incredibly caring and sent me tons of pictures. She asked great questions ahead of time which showed me she was thinking about every detail of his care. I would 100% leave my dog with Mayumi again!

I live in a house with fenced space outside. For potty breaks though, I would take them to a nearby park or walk along residential streets. The house itself it carpeted and there are several doors to go through to go outside (many locked doors).

A typical day
I like to go on walks around the neighborhood's tree lined streets and go to the parks close by. Playing catch and tug of war is fun, and generally I like to run with them to get some exercise in for myself too!
