Pet care experience
I grew up with large dogs (Labs and Great Danes) and now I have two Goldendoodles of my own. My friends always ask me to keep their dogs and I always excitedly say yes! My house is a revolving door of furry friends. We all love having 4 legged, furry visitors. I work from home full time, which means I’m home all day every week day. My schedule is very flexible so there is plenty of time for walks, backyard play, and extra loving! I live in a safe neighborhood great for walking the dogs. If your dog doesn’t like walks, I also have a large fenced-in backyard accessible all day through the doggy door, a ridiculous amount of toys, and two dogs who love having visitors. Sophie is 7 years old, lazy, laid back, and enjoys her sleep. Ruby is 2 years old and much more playful. They both love having other dogs around. All dogs have free range of the house and furniture all day and all night (unless otherwise requested). The house is very puppy-proof. My dogs sleep in the bed with me at night, and there is plenty of room for more.

SO thankful we found Maycie last year. Every time Josie stays with her, Maycie takes the absolute best care of her and Josie has so much fun with Ruby & Sophie!! And we never have to wonder how she’s doing because Maycie frequently sends us updates and pictures. She is the best!❤️

Maycie provided a wonderful atmosphere and care for our miniature schnauzer. He had the best time playing with Ruby and Sophie. They’re so sweet! Our little guy was loved and responsibly fed and entertained. I also appreciate that they have cameras for the rare occasion they need to step out. This is a great setup for any pup who loves some playmates.

I have two dogs to keep your pup feeling welcomed and comfortable. Your pup has the option of being crated or left free roaming when I have to leave the house. Ruby goes in her kennel when we leave because she likes to snack on the window blinds when she’s left unattended. Sophie is left free roaming because she likes to spread out on the couch and snooze when she’s left unattended.

Let me know if you have any special treatment requests or accommodations for your animal and I am happy to make it work. If you want your dog kenneled at night or when home alone, I can do that. if you don’t want your dog anywhere near a kernel, I can do that as well.
A typical day
Every day includes multiple rounds of fetch or tug-o-war, and a lot of naps. We have a doggy door as well so the dogs can go in and out throughout the day as they please.

Availability
I work from home so I am home with the pups all day. We also have a large fenced in backyard accessible all day through an open doggy door. We do close the door at night (after one last potty break) to avoid any uninvited animals. 😉
