Pet care experience
Anytime I see a dog on the street, a smile will inevitably creep onto my face. Dogs are such unique creatures, unparalleled by other animals with their great vivacity and love for life. This is matched by my love for walking and playing with them. At the same time, they can be gentle creatures, with a purposeful approach to life. I know that my methods of dog care is adaptive to these attributes. I've owned a dog, a miniature black poodle named Arie, for 14 years, and before I came to college, I was his primary owner, trainer, and walker. I recently dogsat a new puppy for a month, a poodle mix, whom I helped train (especially potty train). During my time with him, he followed me everywhere! I have walked larger dogs before as well; I often dogsat and walked my temporary roommate's black lab mix this past May. I know how to be stern when needed, but also playful at other times. I love walking dogs and letting them explore, but I will never let them take charge of me. Trusting another person to care for your best friend is a big step, and I realize that! I am here for whatever support you need in taking care of your pup. I can't wait to meet your most special friend!

Maya came with me on several occasions to take care of my Aunt's dog, and she was a great help! The dog (Buttercup) took to Maya right away, and Buttercup doesn't always react well to strangers. Maya took him out on walks and played with him, and Buttercup always had a great time!

A typical day
Fun fact: the Ohlone dog park was the first ever dog park in the US! I live right by it, and it is one of my favorites to parks to take pups to, as there is a nice fenced area with lots of playing room, a smaller fenced park for smaller doggos, and open grassy areas for running and fetching balls! Neighborhood walks are my next favorite, as dogs feels most comfortable around home. I am always here to play fetch with your dog, and he or she likes other dogs, go to doggie meet ups with him or her! I will also make your dog into a model, and hold "professional" (with my Samsung Galaxy S8) photo shoots, if you so desire. Finally, I love walking at Point Isabel and Albany Bulb, if your dog can stand a car ride!
