Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with goats, chickens, cats, and rabbits. I've been surrounded by animals my whole life. I started pet sitting for friends and family when I was 13; feeding, walking, bathing and taking care of dogs and cats. I have experience house training puppies and training basic commands. My dog loves to sit pretty, play dead and speak as well as a handful more cute tricks in exchange for a tasty biscuit or the chance to chase his ball. I have experience administering insulin to a diabetic cat and I understand the strict feeding schedule required to keep your furry family member healthy. I have extensive experience showing love and affection to dogs, cats, goats, horses and bunnies.

Hello. In am writing to tell you all about my experience with Maya as my pet sitter and dog walker. She would always be there when I needed her, even in a pinch. Both of my dogs love her and respond very well to her. I always knew I was leaving them in the best care when Maya was tending to there needs. I also want to include that watching Maya with her dog, Frankie, has been so impressive! They have a wonderful relationship and she has been so dedicated in directing his behavior and teaching him sooo many tricks! If you have a chance to have Maya spend time with your animals that is a very lucky treat for the both of you!
Maya is a very kind, responsible, and loving dog owner and pet lover. She took very good care of our diabetic cat for over a month. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her take care of my pet again or walk my dog. She has taught her dog the cutest tricks!

A typical day
I'd love to learn what games your animals enjoy. If they like walks and smelling new things, I'll take them on walks to explore. If they prefer tug of war in the backyard, that's great, too. Maybe they just want some scratches and snuggles, I can do that too. I want to make sure your pets are physically and mentally stimulated.

Availability
I am a full time student. I have classes Tuesday-Friday, but varying availability throughout the days during the week, but I'm always available in the morning and evening as well as weekends. I understand that life can get a little crazy sometimes, so I'm always happy to take last minute bookings (as my schedule allows of course).
