I’ve been dog sitting and working for clients since I was a senior in high school. I even have a client that lives in Austin, TX that flys me out to watch her dog when she’s on vacation because she knows I’ll take the best care of her pup. I have a 10 pound shih tzu (Kona) that loves having friends in the house. We have a half acre fenced in lot, plenty of room to run! Kona and I love to go for long walks at new parks!

I have used a handful of people through Rover, and Maya is the absolute best! You cannot go wrong using her. I felt at absolute ease with leaving my dog with her for a weekend and didn’t worry a bit.

I would love to know if your dog needs a crate, if they like car rides, if they are nice to other dogs and humans, & if they are potty trained.
A typical day
I will take your dog for a nice long walk around the neighborhood. If they like being in the car we may even go to a new park. On the weekends, I love to hike! Hopefully your dog is up for the challenge. If not, I’ll carry him or her the rest of the way?
