What I’ve learned from walking dogs in Cleveland, San Fransisco, to Manhattan, is that all dogs have personalities, just like us. Each one deserves love! I don’t believe in walking large groups of dogs, or forcing them to be a certain way (beyond the basics of safe behavior). If your dog is anxious, my focus is on reducing anxiety for them by respecting their boundaries. I have lots of experience with small dogs, big dogs, young, and old. I’ve cared for dogs with various health problems requiring medications and patience. My goal is to learn the unique personalities of each dog under my care, and spend our time together meeting their needs safely and joyously! I walk dogs every day! Dog care is an integral part of my life. I love caring for animals and being in nature. Since dog-walking professionally for 4 years in Manhattan, and caring for my own fur babe for the past 8 years, dogs are a priority for me, not an after-thought. I strive to be fully present when I’m with them, and tailor our time together to meet their needs. A dog’s home is their safe place, and I respect that to the fullest capacity. When they are in my care, I treat them like I would like to be treated in my own home. They should always have access to water, a quiet place, and somewhere comfortable. It is my job to ensure that, and that I am available and aware when they communicate something (potty, attention, pain, etc). I ask my clients to tell me about their dog’s habits around the home so that I can provide consistancy to their routines.
