I have known Maya for almost 14 years now, and I can honestly say she is the most compassionate and responsible young woman I have ever known. She is a hard worker who cares immensely about others and the work she does. She is passionate about animals and is thorough with her work, no matter what it is. She has a lot of experience with her own pets and other's, including my cats. She has taken care of my cats many times while I had been out of town, even with short notice she was always ready to offer her help to me when I needed it. Maya is a quirky, sweet, driven and caring individual. She is such a loving person toward all animals, I couldn't recommend someone more!

Maya has quickly become one of my better friends. She has shown me that she is capable of adapting to any situation through her charismatic personality and quick thinking. Maya has also shown an intense care for those around her - especially if they're animals. She prides herself on her devotion to the environment, giving every creature she comes across the same care she would give another person. I have seen her stand in the rain picking up worms from the sidewalk and I have also seen her go out of her way to make sure a dog was comfortable in a crowded city street. I would trust Maya with my dogs in a heartbeat.
