Dog park play dates for everyone!
Pet care experience
Hello! I’m glad to see you took enough interest in me to check out my profile, thank you! If you allow me to watch after your family member, I will be more than happy to accommodate for any special needs they may have (medicine, not friendly with other dogs, need lots of play time, older, etc.), I will be happy to stick to a schedule they may have, help provide training if they are in the process, and they will get to go on walks in nature areas or a field trip to the dog park. I will happily abide by your rules you have set for them. I have had the wonderful opportunity of dog sitting for 6 years now and I’ve learved a lot and realize each dog is different and has its own personality. My schedule is very open, I have reliable transportation and will be more than willing to pick up and drop off your furry friend. Please, if you have any questions of concerns feel free to contact me either on here or by my phone number. Thank you for your time!

Irresponsible sitter, submitted a cancellation request to Rover without communicating with me. I try to reach her after Rover contacted me, and never got a response
I realize my experience was over a year ago, but I feel I’m doing a disservice to pet parents by not sharing my story. It has taken me almost a year to share this. I needed to find peace instead of becoming furiously out of control when I’d think back to everything that took place. I felt so disrespected and helpless. But now that I’ve found peace, I found the right words to use my voice and I thought all of you pet parents should know. Maya Marigold was a bad seed from day 1. She refused to stay overnight with my pets, in my home, that I opened up to her. The service she offered was to include overnight house sitting. On the first day of her service, she left my dogs for 15+/- hours. She lied to me about the time she left them, but I was watching her live on my surveillance camera to know what time she actually left. She refused to provide a schedule with her intention of the times she would be visiting my house and the length of stay each visit. Throughout the rest of the time she was supposed to be taking care of my pets, she continued to lie to me, stating she was there when she wasn’t, repeatedly abandoning my pets. I had to sacrifice the remainder of my vacation and come home early. To your recollection, what happened? (what concerns did you have regarding the stay and care provided once you returned home?) Upon entering my home, there was an obvious smell of urine. The smell of urine, as well as ammonia became more pungent as I walked into my pet's bedroom. There was urine on the floor in front of CiCi's kennel crate. Her bedding was dry, but stained with the smell and sight of urine. I had to throw away her pillow bed along with the protector and pillow case because the smell wouldn't wash out. I also had to bathe CiCi when I came home because she also smelled like urine. Cowboy's kennel crate had dry vomit that wasn't cleaned out before putting clean bedding, as well as him, in the kennel crate. Kylo's kennel crate had feces and urine in it. He shredded his rug bed, which I had to throw away. Kylo has been known to destroy things because he does have separation anxiety, but Kylo doesn't destroy things if he is given ample time with company. Without a doubt, I feel Kylo only tore up his bed because his time alone far exceeded the time that should have been spent with him. Otherwise, Kylo doesn't and hasn't displayed this type of behavior. Kylo also needed a bath to rid him of smelling like urine. My cats were crying as though they hadn't been fed in days, which led me to the discovery that they hadn't been fed all of their food they're supposed to get. I was never able to contact Maya by phone. I had to contact Rover to have her respond to me. There were times while I was on the phone with Rover Support and monitoring my live surveillance, she had the audacity to say she was at my house when she wasn't.
Maya was absolutely amazing with my puppy. It was his first time boarding and she sent me many picture updates of him during his stay. He is a very shy puppy but he absolutely adored Maya. Will definitely be booking again!
Maya took great care of my puppy while I was away for four days. Her dogs played with him and would tire him out, she gave him a bath when we got muddy and even brushed his fur out! I know he had a lot of fun and I felt confident that he was doing well as she updated me everyday on his activities :)
