Pet care experience
Hi! I am a veterinary assistant, and I’ve had animals all my life! Currently I have a dog, two cats, three ferrets, and a leopard gecko. In the past I have also worked with bearded dragons, ball pythons, rats, mice, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and horses. I’ve always loved animals, and have been working professionally with them for about a year and a half. My dream is to one day be a veterinarian :)

Every pet I work with gets my full, undivided attention while I care for their needs. At home, I frequently take my own dog out, tend to my kittens, and play with my ferrets for at least an hour every day, while making sure that everyone is well fed and has a clean environment. I am excited to meet your pet(s) and give them the love they deserve!
Information Maya M. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know about your pet’s personality, particularly if they are shy or aggressive, and how they do with other dogs. If they like other dogs, I would love to introduce them to my own dog! In sitting instances, it is also nice to know if they are potty trained, as well as what times they are usually walked and fed, how much food they receive, and if there are any medications they need to take.
A typical day
My apartment complex has a dog park that I frequent with my own dog, and as long as your pet is dog-friendly and vaccinated, I’d be happy to take them with me! I have a rowdy border collie that will definitely tire out any excited puppies, and I love snuggling with older and calmer dogs. I am happy to walk, feed, and water pets, as well as play with hyper pets and clean litter boxes. If your pet will allow me, I can also give medications, brush out long haired animals, and trim their nails, should they need it. I am happy to care for exotic animals as well!

Availability
As a full time student and part time veterinary assistant, I am only available at certain times of the day. Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday afternoons work best for me. My schedule is pretty variable the rest of the week, so feel free to send me a message and see if we can work something out!
