I probably already love your dog.
Pet care experience
I have had pets since I was born, with my first dog Brutus being born before me and living until 17 years old. There has never been a time my family was without some sort of pet, meaning we at times had dogs, cats, fish, and various reptiles living among us in our home. My two current dogs, border collies Roscoe and Daisy, had two litters of puppies (5 the first time and 7 the second) which I helped care for and nurture. We trained and socialized them until they were adopted, and we still keep in touch with some of the puppies’ owners. Pets are not allowed in my current college household, so I would love the opportunity to spend time with animals while also being a helping hand!

We booked Maya for a 1 night house sitting last night. Maya told us she had couple things planned already so she will be in and out but she said she can stay the night at the house with the dogs, she said she's comfortable sleeping with the dogs, we washed all the blankets for her to stay. When we cam back home, the dogs were crazy excited to see us, so we thought something was off. Our bed looked like no one has slept there so we checked our Ring camera and found out that she left the house at 8:39PM, left her car in front of our house and came back at 8:05AM in the morning. I get that dogs can't speak but no one should take advantage of it, we trusted her to stay a night with our pups and left thinking that they are in good hands. We are so upset and dumbfounded at this situation. Don't book her or trust her and Maya, if you are going to do your business like this, you should not be dog sitting ever.
It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Maya as a caregiver for pets. I have known Maya and trusted her to care for my daughter at various times in the past two years. I have always been impressed by her attentiveness, dependability, and flexibility when I have been in a pinch. She has demonstrated her responsibility by spending quality time with my 2 year old, feeding her, and tending to any of her needs when being her caregiver. Her ability to assess the needs of who/what she is watching and to follow specific instructions regarding those needs is excellent. I have no doubt that she will excel as a caretaker of your pet. I highly recommend Maya as a responsible caregiver of pets and believe she will be an asset to you.
Maya is a very pet responsible person who I have full trust in with pets. I’ve not only seen her care for her own fur babies but others family pets as well. Your dog-o’s will be in good hands with her!

Since I am not able to have pets in my college apartment, I would be happy to come to you for sitting and/or walking needs. I have a car and have experience driving with animals, so I would be able to travel with pets if the owner needs it. I would use my time management skills to feed, water, and walk your fur baby efficiently (while also keeping them entertained by playing!)
Information Maya L. would like to know about your pet
It would be great to know ahead of time about any special needs or preferences your dog has (like where not to pet them, their favorite toy, or how often they need to take walks) so I can make them (and you) as happy as possible! I work well with pretty much any breed and am happy to do research on specific breed needs if it would enhance my service.
A typical day
I haven’t yet met a dog who doesn’t love a good walk, so I would probably take them to one of the many parks in my area (like El Dorado park) for a stroll. I also have experience with high-energy dogs that need a lot of exercise, so I have the stamina to play fetch and even go on runs with your pet! In between potential naptimes, I would of course engage your dog in lively and stimulating conversation to get to know them better.

Availability
I am active in my church community, go to school full-time, and work part-time. I would likely be able to take care of your fuzzy friends on Saturdays, Sunday afternoons, and some weekday afternoons/evenings. Staying overnight would be best on Fridays and weekends. I am happy to be as flexible as I can and I’m sure we can talk to work something out together! :)
