I am very good judge of character and animals are attracted to me all day long. They usually trust me with their safety immediately. I’ve been taking care of family, friends, professors, and coworkers pets since college. I have been a bunny mom (7yrs) as well as a cat mom thrice. I grew up with dogs and lizards throughout my extended family as well as in my home. My father raised dogs and I learned to attend to them early. I enjoy pets more than people because they lead with authenticity, joy, and playful good will. I also clean houses currently so you would never have to worry about me disrespecting your space or neighbors peace. I’m really quiet as I come and go. I am Maya’s Pet Massages and I am a companion for the whole animal. I currently clean houses and I am looking to continue to extend my in-home services to pet care as well. I make my own schedule so it’s up to our discussion about you/r pets needs. I cannot host at this time. My home is my cat, Gracie Mae’s, domain. Her comfort comes first and I have housemates and no extra space to dedicate to carrier or overnight cage.

Maya was the best sitter my pet and I could have asked for. I could tell from the first time meeting her that she was extremely professional and knowledgeable, asking for detailed knowledge and a meetup to ensure compatibility prior to accepting. She made sure that my dog was as happy as ever and went above and beyond to keep me constantly informed with picture, videos, and updates. Additionally, my pup is a rescue, with separation anxiety from his time spent as a stray, and she dealt with this extra challenge like a pro, doing as good of job as even I could have. She was incredibly respectful of my household and left it as clean, if not cleaner, that she found it. I have never used a sitter before, preferring countryside free-roam kennels in the past, but she has converted me. If I even need a siter again, she will 100% be my go to. I can wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone.
I recently had the pleasure of hiring Maya to care for my two beloved 8-year-old pitbull mixes, Bonnie and Bosco, affectionately known as 'the twins', while I was away for a week. Maya's service went far beyond my expectations, and it's only fair to share how remarkable she is. Maya demonstrated an incredible understanding of each dog's unique needs, especially important during Chicago's chilly weather. She tailored outdoor walks to suit Bonnie's short tolerance for cold and Bosco's preference for longer strolls. This thoughtful approach ensured they both enjoyed their time outside safely and comfortably. Her responsibilities didn't stop at walks. Maya adeptly handled the usual tasks of feeding, tidying up, and mail collection with ease. But what really set her apart were the thoughtful extras she provided: new toys, nail trims, baths, and even preparing lick mats for the twins. These gestures showed her genuine care and attention to detail. Communication with Maya was seamless. Respecting my busywork trip schedule, she skillfully used a shared photo album to update me on their daily adventures. Every night, I was delighted to see photos and videos of Bonnie and Bosco's joyful times with Maya, both active and relaxed. On my return, it was evident how deeply Bonnie and Bosco had bonded with Maya. Watching them longingly wait for her after she left was a clear testament to the love and care she provided. Maya has not only met but exceeded my high standards of care, making her an irreplaceable part of our family's care team. To anyone in need of a trustworthy, attentive, and loving dog sitter, I wholeheartedly recommend Maya. She is not just a sitter; she is a caretaker who will love your pets as her own and elevate your standards for what pet care should be. I’m a big fan of the park by me. It has a giant run and I see dogs out there all the time. Plenty of space to chase and throw balls. I’m an actor by profession and I like to play music and dance with the babies. I give them a show and let them join me in the fun of being silly. I’ve got the energy and they got the time and willingness.
