Pet care experience
I’m a young recent graduate located very close to Bromley town centre! I have over 15 years of personal experience looking after dogs and cats. Growing up in Jamaica, my family always had at least one dog and cat so I learned the basics of looking after pets from a very young age. As I got older, I became the main carer for our pets, walking our dog every evening after school and giving them baths on the weekend. Since moving to the UK, I have done house sitting on several occasions, looking after a close friend’s British Bulldog. It was something that I thoroughly enjoyed as I haven’t been able to get a pet of my own here due to space restrictions. I’m an active individual who would really enjoy the company of some furry friends!

Maya Hussey is by far my first choice when I am in need of a dog sitter. I have used her service on several occasions, the last one for a period of three weeks. She looked after my 9 year old French Mastiff and 8 year old Rottweiler with ease, proving that she is more than capable to handle big dogs. During that time, she kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with me on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving the dogs and house behind. Maya has helped me to dog-sit my sister's British bulldog, Patsy, in the past, while she's been away on holiday, sometimes for multiple weeks. Maya would always make sure that she went on her walks and was fed on time. She was attentive to her needs, played with her, put up with her snoring and gave her plenty of kisses and cuddles. It is in Maya's nature to be loving and affectionate towards dogs. Any dog would be lucky to have Maya look after them.
Maya Hussey is an extraordinary human being who i am proud to call my daughter. We are "Dog People"...The Hussey's and i raised Maya with dogs always around the house and as an integral part of our family unit. I always tell persons that the only person i know who loves dogs more than me ….is my daughter...lol. Maya is very responsible and has been looking after our pets for over 18 years, she has been responsible for the feeding, walking and vaccination routine of all our pets and can be trusted with every aspect of their well-being.
