Pet care experience
I'm an animal lover and a highly active person - I played Division 1 Ivy League field hockey and exercise is my hobby! I love being outdoors, especially with a furry pal. To me walking a dog is meditative and a form of relaxation and connection between human and animal, and one that is super important to practice ritually over the course of a dog's life. I believe that pets should be loved and defended for by their owners, and given every opportunity to lead a happy and healthy life. I think Rover is a great platform to connect those who want to help pet owners and enjoy the work of taking care of animals.

Maya and Aaron were incredible and made the weekend away so smooth and stress free, as the first time i had left my little cavapoo since the beginning of lockdown. Archie can be quite a nervous dog, but bonded with them immeadiately and looked right at home from all the photos Maya sent over. He will definitely be returning for cuddles! :)
I’ve known Maya for a couple years and have seen how wonderful she is with dogs; she’s extremely responsible, super active, and a life-long dog lover. She will care for and love your pup like her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave my pup with her!

I have known her to care for numerous pets and children over the 8 years that I have known her, and have only seen and heard positive feedback about the job done. She is a great communicator, and I have no doubt that she would keep you informed throughout the duration of her time with your pet, as well as heed any and all instructions with the utmost care. A typical day
Walks, going to the park, playing with toys, lots and lots of activities! If anyone staying with me I always start with along our walk in the morning, a bit of off lead time if that’s allowed in a fenced in park nearby. At lunchtime, we had to another park to chase some pigeons and throw a ball. Before dinner it’s another walk and bathroom break!

I’m currently work from home with a flexible schedule. I’m currently caring for local dogs in my neighborhood and caring for them, whether it be walks or homestays or check ins while people are headed back to the office
