Pet care experience
When I first started walking dogs with Rover, my best friend and partner in crime had passed away and I was looking for some new pals to help that hole in my heart. I met the most amazing pups who taught me I was ready to welcome another furbaby. I enjoy continuing to be able to walk dogs to make your life a little easier and help spread the love. I am well versed in dog handling and training, and am super trustworthy. I will treat your furbaby just like my furbaby. I might even try to teach him a fancy new trick! I’ll never force your dog to do anything he doesn’t want to do, and will work with him to build trust and find activities he enjoys doing! My small Cavapoo Archie would love to join us on walks, but if your dog is not good with other dogs I can certainly do the walk solo! I can’t wait to meet a new furry pal!

Maya is so friendly and my dogs absolutely love going for walks with her! She is extremely prompt and showed up right on time, every time. She always messages before she leaves the house to make sure she’s there when you need her to be. Thank you for taking care of my sweet furry loves, Maya!
We have used Maya many times to walk our dogs, mostly a 1 year old pitty cross rescue. He is a big, energetic guy who is at the beginning of his training journey. I have been VERY happy to have found Maya to help out as she really listened to what training protocols we are using with him right now, and I can feel comfortable knowing he is getting consistent messages from us and when with her. Our pup has some dog reactivity, and Maya clearly understands this. On one occasion they encountering an off-leash dog on a walk, and Maya handled it excellently to avoid any issue. We are so happy to have found her, and it is so relieving to find someone we can feel completely confident with caring for our little ones! Thanks so much Maya, you are awesome :)
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Maya’s services. I’m a bit of a helicopter parent but Maya put me immediately at ease. Her love for animals is clear right off the bat and Rosie took to her right away. She’s reliable, attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure both you and your pet have a good experience. She kept me updated with photos and texts letting me know how Rosie was doing. She treated Rosie with such love that the usual guilt I feel when leaving her behind was replaced with a peace of mind knowing that she would be in such great hands. I highly recommend Maya to anyone looking for a sitter for their furbaby.

I currently work full time, so if you’re looking for someone to do evening and weekend walks, I’m your person! I’m also around most holidays and have Fridays regularly off so I can be flexible on timing those days.
