Dog loving person with a passion
Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and horses. I am highly interested in dog behavior and psychology and strongly promote positive reinforcement training techniques and handling. I have lived with large dogs but love dogs of all sizes and breeds. I understand how dogs see the world and hope to use this as a way to forge a connection with each canine I meet. Caring for dogs is a passion, not solely a job. I hope to pursue this passion all my life. As a positive trainer, having a bond is an everyday journey and is continually evolving with each day. As an animal advocate and trainer, I strive to be their voice and continually spread awareness as I learn myself. I look forward to meeting you and your furchild!

Sir or Madam, My name is Timothé Beaurain, I am 23, and a French resident. I have known Maya for a long time, and we are planning to live in France this coming fall. Maya has her hand on the heart so last summer she decided to contact the SPA (French association to protect animals) and together we went to one of the centers to choose a dog. By coincidence, we found two bernese mountains dogs. I had a bernese mountain who died a few months before the visit, so for her and for me we couldn't abandon them at their poor fate. Back in my home, Maya entirely trained them (their last owners didn't teach them anything). Maya taught them how to sit, wait for food, not to pull during the walk, not to bark all the time and some other commands and tricks. She uses a "positive" reinforcement method, never forcing the dog to do an action but rather letting them figure it out on their own through positive reinforcement/reward. Maya is very calm, kind and patient and l am sure the dogs are extremely happy to have found her as a owner and trainer. Maya knows a lot of things, it's definitely her passion, her vocation to work with animals, this little something that makes her appreciated by animals and their owners. In addition to our 2 dogs, she also helped my friend with his overly hyper dog. She doesn't train a dog only for training, she understands the psychology of the animal and uses it to make the animal feel better, more confident and happier. The female bernese mountain had been beaten, kicked by her last owner so the poor dog was scared, stress and was always obedient out of fear of being beaten. It took time but Maya did a really great job because now June feels much better, no more fears of feet and plays more with her brother. Cordially, Timothé Beaurain
