My name is Maya and I currently live here in San Luis Obispo, CA. Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated by animals. I was fortunate to grow up on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, which allowed me to have a hands on experience caring for animals from a very young age. I worked on a farm caring for goats, chickens, pigs, sheep, cows, horses, dogs, cats and many other animals. Back at home I had animals of my own to care for as well, including multiple German Shepherds and cats, which I still have to this day. I began pet-sitting during this time in Hawaii and have continued to do so here in SLO, California. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters including the Ventura County Humane Society. As a pet owner myself I believe our animals are a part of our family and I will make sure to note your pet's special needs and routines so they will comfortable and cared for when you are away. My availability is very open and flexible at the moment. I am available every day of the week. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your pets!
