Pet care experience
The start to my experience with dogs was with my fur baby Indigo (aka Indy), she was a Chow mix rescue. She was a sly, very head strong dog, and was really good at hearing me when I said treat(like could be a mile away probably and still hear me whisper it). I trained her how to sit, be polite, and not pull on the leash. ( At least until she saw a squirrel.) Experience after and along side her has been me being the one of the go to persons to watch my friends and families fur babies. Along with Many neighbors. I feel very comfortable around all energy levels of pups and all sizes of dogs. I think the reason I get along so well with doggos is because we are similar creatures. We both like playing outside, we both like walks. we both get really excited when we can see food. The past few years I've been doing seasonal work so I haven't had the consistency enough to take on any puppies long term. This will be my first year I can give consistency. One of my roommates is a single and proud cat 🐈 I wouldn't want to mess with what he's got going on. That said, I am excited to share many cute moments with many doggos. Animals have alot to teach and are very important to me.
Reviews
Let me start by saying my pup Magnum absolutely ADORES Maya! She always goes above and beyond what is expected of her, she takes him to the river for a swim, the park for some fetch, and all over town with her....he loves the extra attention! Maya is not only extremely dependable, but also very responsible and trust worthy. She is always happy to fulfill any requests of mine, and always makes herself available when I am in a pinch. Your fur babies will always be in GREAT hands with Maya!
My dog's stay with Maya was wonderful. He seemed to enjoy Maya and her family, and I felt secure knowing he was in caring hands. I enjoyed seeing pictures of him during his stay. I will certainly use Maya again.
Maya is one of the few people who can keep up with my fur baby's rambunctious behavior and wild nature. She is one of the most outdoorsy people I know and is always up for an adventure regardless of the weather. She is responsible, patient, fun, and loving. Her love of nature and animals makes her the perfect companion for any dog!

Each pet usually needs something different energy wise. I try to learn from them and give them what they need. I live with a cat and he comes to me when he want my attention, usually when he wants to try to pretend his Mom didn't feed his and thinks he can sneak another meal. I'm very cautious of what treats I give animals, usually asking there owner what they give them. If a dog slips the leash, I don't normally run after then because they think I'm playing so I lay down or run backwards. But Mostly, with kindness and understanding first, I'll do my best to match and balance all animals energy.
Information Maya C. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog get along with other dogs? What's your dog's favorite toy? What's kind of treats do you give your dog? Does your dog have any triggers that might cause erratic behavior? Does your dogs have any neighbors friend that I should make sure I say hi to if I see them?
A typical day
We will joyfully gallop through fields and parks. I will always take the time to let a dog sniff every piece of land it desire along the way, so they can become connoisseur of sniff. Does your dog have a favorite toy? Does your dog enjoy belly rubs? Where I bring them really depends on whats local or how your dog is with other dogs.

Availability
I'm currently working part-time. I always have weekends free so if you work on the weekends or want to get away for a weekend and can't bring the pup then I'm your person. I make my own schedule for the most part currently my most available times are morning before 10am and after 4:30pm. But like I said I make my own schedule so that's flexible.
