Pet care experience
May + David look forward to boarding or watching your furry family member. We have helped friends watch or board their loved ones, and have volunteered for rescues around the Bay Area. Including fostering a puppy who just came from a 12-hour flight from Taiwan and 2 big dogs and their 4 active puppies! We do not have kids or pets, only watch one dog at a time, and work from home. We welcome dogs up to 40 lbs. who are potty trained, have flea prevention treatment, and are updated with vaccinations. Our home is best suited to doggies who have a low to moderate activity level. May is a native San Franciscan with a huge love for animals from parakeets, hamsters, and ducks to chickens, cats, and dogs. David is from San Diego originally but has lived in the Bay Area for over 15 years, and his lap is a favorite resting place for all the dogs we have cared for. May + David want your pooch to be as comfortable as possible for their visit or stay. Please bring your own food so it is easier for them to adjust to our home. It helps if you bring your own bed, crate, toys, treats, walking harness, and/or leash if your dog has an attachment to or preference for something specific. We have toys, a couple dog beds, a comfy couch with blankets, filtered water, retractable leash, and dog treats (we reward with greenies, busy bones, or carrots but never raw hides). We prefer to have a meet-and-greet with each new dog we plan on watching. May + David are both vaccinated but ask that guests wear masks while visiting our home at this time.
Reviews
May and David are the best! They're watched our anxious, reactive dog many times and he always comes home so relaxed and happy. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!!
Perfect as always!
May and David are the absolute best. They take amazing care of our anxious rescue dog, Sadie, when we’re away and they leave no detail untended to. They’re thorough, communicative, and caring. When we first came over for a meet and greet they welcomed us with a bunch of new toys for Sadie to check out, and had treats waiting. When Sadie stays with them, they treat her as their own fur baby, spoiling her with her favorite treats and toys, and taking her on adventures to great local dog spots. We trust them completely, and they are such kind people to boot. You won’t find a better option for Doggy boarding than May and David!
Perfect as always!

Our fully fenced large backyard (6' fence with a mix of grass, mulch, and cement) is perfect for playing games, potty breaks, and the zoomies. Your dog will have free roam of the house and monitored in the backyard. Overnight furry friends are welcome on our couches and bed should they prefer it, or let us know if you rather they stay in their own sleep zone.

Information May S. & David D. would like to know about your pet
Please provide us with your pup's typical schedule, energy level, and other important information related to dietary restrictions, person or animal sensitivities, barkiness, etc. Sharing a list of specific commands they know will help us take care of and play with them.
A typical day
For furry friends without a strict schedule, we typically feed around 9 AM and again at 6 PM. We offer pets, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. We like to go on a late afternoon walk on weekdays, and we usually go for an early afternoon walk on weekends. Our favorite spots are the Richmond Marina, Albany Bulb, and Point Isabel Dog Park. But for doggies who don't like car rides, we can stick with the Miraflores Sustainable Greenbelt or JFK Park, both of which are in our neighborhood.
