Pet care experience
Hi! My name is May. I’ve grown up around various animals for as long as I can remember. I have one dog currently a 4 year old English springer spaniel named Bo and a 8 month old Golden named Goose. I am have been an veterinary assistant in various clinics for about 2.5 years, so I have a lot of animal care experience, along with injections and medication administration. I have taken care of many animals from extra large Bernese mountain dogs, to tiny little poodles to a kitten for friends and family members along with my clinical experience.

May is wonderful. She has always been able to help my family watch their dogs last minute. Our 2, 125+ pound Bernese mountain dogs and our little 30 pound French is always so excited to see her and are well taken care of. Our older Bernese has some health issues and May has always taken great care of her from medicating her to getting her to eat because our dog deemed her kibble “boring”. All of our kiddos are trouble makers and she has always provided a safe environment and has watched our dogs over 10x without incident. She is kind and responsible and always providing update. I would trust her to watch any of our kids any day.
May, is one of the most responsible people I have met when it comes to caring for animals. She’s cared for at least 4 animals at one time and everyone was happy and healthy when I returned.

I currently do not have a place of my own to be able to offer boarding. However, I am well versed in creating a safe, happy, and enriching environment for pets. I treat all animals like my own and understand how nerve wracking it can be to leave them in the care of others. I will always be available for check ins, questions, or any sort of communication.
Information May P. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to take on almost any dog. Please let me know if advance if your dog has any specific preferences for treats, if they need medications or have allergies. I also would appreciate to know about triggers (aversions to loud sounds, other dogs, etc) just so I can ensure their safety
A typical day
I love to play with dogs. I am well versed in providing great enrichment time that involved play, smell and fun. I am also happy to just cuddle on the couch if they are not much playeds

Availability
I do have a full time job at a veterinary clinic, however I am able to bring an animal with me each day if they are crate trained! I have my own or I can bring their personal! I do work out of Bend so I am there most days out of the week!
