I have worked in a retirement home for years so tending to the elderly I do well, dogs are the best at showing their loyalty.

I let them rome free but I have a short leash. Pun intended, but there is no potty in the apartment, I will always take them out to do their business.

I love to excessive and bringing your dog with my on my runs (or slow jogs) makes it a ton more enjoyable. I do a good job looking out for my own well being so having your dog with me will make it that much easier.
