Pet care experience
Growing up my family has always had dogs, currently, we own a trio of energetic Australian Shepherds. As well as neighbors, friends, and tutors, all of whom I have helped by walking their dogs from when I was around 10 until 17. During which I started attending school, while not initially going towards PreVet. I still maintained my passion for dogs by intermittently working as a shift lead at the Zuri Pet and Spa Resort in Orange County. I have only recently left that job in November of 2023, due to commuting issues after moving to Northern San Diego. However, I still hold a passion for taking care of dogs and using the experience I learned to ensure their health and safety.

Max is amazing with dogs. He has been properly trained and has a lifetime of experience taking care of dogs and grew up with 3 dogs in his home. I have never met someone with such great skills and instincts with so many different breeds of dogs. I highly recommend and would trust Max with any dog in any situation.

Having experience with dogs that are high energy and have high anxiety both from my own pets and from work. My usual approach is to always ensure dogs in my care are first comfortable with me, giving them time to get used to my presence. I also make sure that they can play and get as much exercise as they require to ensure they have the happiest and healthiest lives possible. Something that I know has helped my dog Ossa reach 15 years old with little signs of aging.

Being an above-average size/height man, I always like to first make sure how the dog's temperament before first meeting them. This can be a simple summary of their life whether they were raised by you or were they rescued. I also like to know any preferred commands. Along with their favorite kind of toys, treats, ways to pet, and,of course, any allergies or triggers.
A typical day
I always love to take dogs on walks as I believe this along with regular games of fetch and hide and seek treats/toys allows them to feel both physically and mentally stimulated. Just like most dogs I love to explore new areas and expose myself to new things, this is something I like to do with any dog under my care I believe that is what keeps them young. Along with a proper diet and calm home environment.

Availability
As stated I am a student who is in their third year of school, I am available most mornings during the weekdays and evenings. However, since I am supporting myself I do have a part-time job and am an amateur competitive powerlifter which can take up time on weekends. Any commitments will be put on my schedule many weeks in advance. During the school time, I will have more limited availability which will have to be either mornings or evenings during the week and mornings on the weekends.
