Attentive friend to all doggies!

Pet care experience

I've been taking care of my own dogs since I was 6 years old, and I have done plenty of dog sitting and walking for family and friends throughout the years as well. My sweet girl Hazel receives exercise every day, and I also give her pills for incontinence issues every morning before breakfast, so I am accustomed to medicinal routines if I am sitting for a dog that needs to take some kind of medicine. I can walk your dog or just hang out with them, depending on what the dog needs.

Max came last minute to help me with my dog, sent lots of photos and made me feel safe leaving my pet with them. Will use again!

Max was communicative throughout the booking process and during his drop ins. He went out of his way to do an extra walk as well!

Safety, trust & environment

Stimulation is the best way to ensure good behavior in a dog, so I make sure to take my own dog out for walks or runs every day, maybe take her to a park and throw a ball around if that would be better due to time constraints or anything like that so she can get the most out of it. But sometimes just hanging out is fine too, because some doggies are couch potatoes after all. Making sure that they get attention is the main thing.

Information Max M. would like to know about your pet

Aside from the essential things such as health conditions, feeding time, usual exercise routines, etc... I feel that a very important thing to know about any dog prior to taking care of them would be personality traits and unique little quirks that they might have. Every dog is different, and needs to be understood as their own little individual.

A typical day

It really depends on the individual dog, but I can always guarantee plenty of walking (up to an hour or more depending on the energy), tossing a ball around or playing with a toy. The one major thing I would say I cannot do is taking them to a dog park, simply because I would never be comfortable taking a dog that wasn't mine in case anything happened.

I'm looking primarily to do this as a part time thing right now with maybe increasing the amount of time I put into this over time, but I currently have a lot of leeway and freedom throughout the week.
