Pet care experience
I walked and took care of dogs when I was in graduate school, as a way to earn some money, and loved it! I am also a former collegiate runner, so I get the best of both worlds by taking care of dogs, running and walking! I have experience taking care of small dogs (i.e. Yorkies) to big dogs (i.e. German Shepards). Additionally, I currently watch and walk my roommates dog when she is away and out of town.

If the client has a fenced yard, I can easily play fetch with the dog, so they can get the exercise and play they need. I will also collaborate with the client based on what services the dog needs (i.e. what time they need to be fed, when they need to be walked, or if they need to be taken to the Vet). Communication is key for me for making sure your pet is successful!

Knowing if the dog is friendly (or not) friendly towards other animals. If the dog likes or does not like to walk in bad weather.
A typical day
Playing fetch, going on runs, or going to the dog park. I also wouldn't mind bringing dogs to the water (i.e. a beach or a lake)

I currently work full-time at a nonprofit in southern New Jersey so I am free after 5PM EST and I can also work on most weekends. I cannot take dogs in my current home, but I can walk or take care or dogs in other people's residencies.
