Pet care experience
I've grown up and spent time with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Dogs especially have served a constant role as companions and friends in my life, and I'm adept at caring for them as personal animals. Professionally, I was a pet sitter for about a couple of years. One of the dogs I've had to look after was diabetic, and after being told of the expected routine and shown how to give him his insulin injections, I had been on top of that to the best of my ability to ensure that he got the best care I could give him. Max was an exceptional pet sitter when we had him look after our fur babies. He had to watch after two dogs (one of whom was diabetic and going blind) and a couple of feral cats. And he rose to the task with a good plan and routine and kept at it. He listened to the instructions we laid out for him and stuck to them. He worked diligently and loved our pets -- giving them the respect and care that they deserved.

I will then abide by that schedule as tightly as possible to ensure that the pet stays on a good routine to keep healthy. I will also clean up any spills or accidents, ensure they have a clean food and water bowl/dish, and regularly play and interact with them whenever they need attention.

Let me know if your pet has any medication or specific food requirements. I must know these things for the sake of your pet's health. Let me know if you've got a routine going and what it is so that I don't mess that up for the animal - this could be anything from medication timing to feeding times to walks, to letting them out to do their business, to whatever else. If you run your pet's life like clockwork, I need to know. If medication is required, I will also need you to tell me how you put it in and what conditions need to be met for it (before eating, after eating, etc.).
A typical day
Oh, the dogs and I can do all kinds of fun things, from the usual (walks, fetch, tug-o-war) to playfully chasing each other, to whatever else we can come up with. So long as we're both happy and getting our exercise in. For cats, it'd be a bit more mellow - likely using a wand cat toy or a laser pointer to get them to chase and hunt something without getting myself injured from their desire to roughhouse.
