Pet care experience
Drop-in visits, pet daycare or overnight boarding in my home, walking, grooming & feedings. *I can pick up & return your babies to you safely. *I can no longer do overnight or long hrs away from my home as I'm building up my own homestead now with goats so far. But I can host up to two fur babies in my home if needed. I am living in a 5th Wheel with 2 small dogs & 3 cats. They get lot's of outdoor time & exercise everyday as I'm outside much of the time. BONUS: check on your home! Meals for your babies, fresh water, scheduled medications if required, walks, parks, taxi them safely, basic grooming if requested, if permitted I can allow them to socialize with my pets or others when out just for their play time! I will be happy to provide thoughtful comforts for your fur baby. I currently have roots in Naples, Idaho (Just moved, edited April 26th, 2021). I am a retired Vet. I have provided volunteer service to foster many dogs & cats to prepare them for their forever homes. I have raised both dogs & cats for 21 years and other interesting fur babies and feathered friends! Recently, I've been honing in on skills with live stock such as chickens, goats, sheeps, cows & horses. As of spring 2021, I've aided in several difficult deliveries that required minor interventions and all are currently thriving! I'm also now the proud owner of Mini Nigerian Dwarf goats. Started out with adopting one (now 6mths & thriving) as she required bottle feeding and promptly stole my heart. She was than gifted to me from her farm owners. I have since acquired her blood mother & grandmother & this seasons kids, I now have 8 goats on my lil' homestead. I will be looking forward to the opportunity to help others when they need quality care for their fury family members! Due to my homesteading obligations, I now can only provide nearby local drop in visits, walks or care at my own home. I really enjoyed my overnight longer term stays, but, I'm raising up so many of my own now, my apologies to my past clients. How I loved caring for all your babies & your homes!

If I could give Maureen 1000 stars I would! She's an absolute blessing! She responded super quickly and graciously met my need of a last minute drop in sitter to feed my catos morning and night. In true cat fashion, my littles can be a bit weary about new people serving up their food, they even hissed at my friend and her teenage daughter who cat sat a month ago. They loved Maureen and totally trusted her, as do I. Maureen communicated perfectly the whole time and let me know they were safe and happy. I am extremely grateful to have connected with her, her services are a highly valuable asset to our community. Extremely trust worthy caregivers are hard to find, an in fact she's the only person available in our area through rover at this time. If you are in need of pet sitting do not hesitate to reach out to her!
Maureen was wonderful! She took care of our two dogs, cat, and chickens. During the time frame we were gone, we got several photo updates, and she was very communicative. Its so nerve wracking to hire someone you don't know to watch your fur children - right away I could tell Maureen cared about animals, and it made our time away much more enjoyable. Will definitely hire again!
Maureen did an amazing job farm sitting for a week and taking care of our dogs and chickens. I would definitely hire her again, very experienced and trustworthy. She went above and beyond her call of duty! Thanks again!

Would you like me to bring my 2 small dogs along? Do any of your pets have anxieties of other pets, male or female humans? Is there any pet medications required and a schedule? Do any pets require basic grooming if I am with them long enough? Is there any other anxieties or temperament experiences you wish to ensure I am aware of? *I am vastly experienced with a calming approach for many sorts of temperaments.

Walk on trails, parks, along rivers to run or play fetch, socialize with other people and dogs at dog friendly locations and approved by you.

Availability
Walks, checks, feedings at least a couple times daily. I'm able to leave my own homestead for a couple hrs at a time. Nearby or local only now. And provide care at my home as well. It is fun out here for my fur babies!
