Your pup’s new BFF! Walk/play/train

Pet care experience

Absolutely love dogs and willing to keep your furbaby’s tail a-waggin! Fifteen years of experience caring for small, medium and large dogs. I’ve trained, groomed and cared for my Goldendoodle pup Forrest since he was 8 weeks old and my senior Maltipoo Maggie until she was 15 years old. Have also cared for family dogs (Millie the Cairn Terrier and Peyton the Maltese) and took pet sitting jobs in college.

Maureen is a dream come true! Finding someone to watch over your pets and trust them with your home can be difficult, but Maureen checked all the boxes and more. She is extremely professional, kind, trustworthy and goes above and beyond in all aspects of the job. She sends multiple updates a day with pictures and videos, and takes care of our dogs and home as if they were her own. We have 2 mini-aussies who are used to us being home most of the time. We are very particular with who we let care for our babies, and as soon as we connected with Maureen, we know she was perfect! On our last trip, we were nervous to leave one of our dogs as she had a seizure a few weeks prior with no explanation. After discussing this with Maureen, I felt so at ease and relaxed going on the trip knowing that she was there keeping a sharp eye on our baby. Her attention to detail is incredible and when we arrived home from our trip, our house looked BETTER than we left it! I can't recommend Maureen enough. She not only met, but exceeded all of our expectations with compassion and professionalism. You won't be disappointed!

Maureen is amazing! I don't travel much so anxious about leaving my babies for a few days, but she reassured me with plenty of pictures, videos and texts on any information I needed to know regarding meals. Tilly really enjoyed her walks! The house was immaculate! I would not hesitate recommending Maureen to anyone for whatever services she provides!

I only have amazing things to say about Maureen :) She took the time to meet with my pup and I before our scheduled sitting to get to know him and asked all the right questions. She followed all of the instructions we gave her to the tee! She even created an album so that she could share pictures everyday and gave amazing communication while we were away. When I came home from my trip, my house was even cleaner then I left it, such a great house guest! Will definitely be booking Maureen again and highly recommend her!

I’ll take care of your fur babies and your home like my own! More than willing to adapt to your dog’s routine and activity level to keep them comfortable and happy. I can administer medication, cater to special needs, am trained in Pet First Aid & CPR, and have the patience it takes to care for pups of all ages - puppy, teen, adult and senior. My level of care for your pets extends to your home as well, including checking the mail, bringing in packages, watering your plants, cleaning up after your pets and taking care of the interior of your home as well. For longer-term stays, I also offer complimentary baths for your pets if you desire. We moved here from Denver, CO and were lucky to have the support of great Rover sitters for Forrest in his first year. I know the significant impact of having solid, reliable care for your babies to make sure their needs are met and for your peace of mind. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away from home, whether it’s a night out, day trip, weekend getaway or longer travel and know that your pets are getting the care and attention they deserve and having their needs met.

Information Maureen L. would like to know about your pet

I prefer to do a Meet & Greet prior to house sitting or extended drop-in visits to set expectations. This helps me better understand your pup’s needs, the daily routine, where necessities are kept, and to ensure that it will be a great fit for you, me, and your furbaby. I’d love to stick as close to your pup’s routine as possible. Feeding times, naps, walks/play, common behavior to keep an eye on, and any other preferences you have are helpful to know.

A typical day

Let’s have some fun together! I’m available to take your dog on walks to get some sniffs in and decompress, practice training skills and socialization, or play fetch or frisbee in the yard together. For house sitting, I’m familiar with separation anxiety and know how important it is to stick to a routine and environment as familiar as possible while pawrents are away, so I’m more than happy to do that while caring for your pups. I also have experience working with reactive dogs and have been training my doodle Forrest to improve his own loose leash walk and public manners. (Our 2023 goal is to get AKC Canine Good Citizen certified as a step to becoming a therapy dog.) Letting me know about your pup’s triggers for anxiety will help me make sure they stay comfortable and safe while you’re away from home.
