Hello! My name is Maureen. I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for several years now, and I can’t wait to hang out with your cats and dogs! I am currently only accepting new cat clients in Sandy Hill, Old Ottawa East/South, the Glebe, Little Italy, Chinatown, Hintonburg, Wellington West, and Westboro. I grew up with dogs of all sizes, but I’ve especially loved the big dogs that I’ve had the opportunity to spend time with. I have a lot of experience with high-energy dogs as well. But whether your dog likes a leisurely stroll or a fast-paced walk through their neighborhood, I’ll be there to make sure that they have fun on our walk.

Maureen was, as usual, so great with our cat and dog. She was very attentive to our dog’s special needs (given a leg injury) and provided detailed updates with many photos. We had no concerns at all leaving them both in her care. She also left the place so clean after staying, which was wonderful after coming back from vacation. It was clear both our pets were happy and their needs were beyond met. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Maureen was absolutely amazing with our Australian cattle dog and our cat, they both adored her which was beyond comforting! Our dog is a high energy breed and Maureen went above and beyond to work with us to ensure his exercise needs were met and his routine perfected. Our place was also so clean after coming home from vacation. We would recommend her to anyone!

Please let me know your pet's food/medication schedule and any other pertinent information at our meet and greet. It is also important for me to know any favorite hiding spots or other unique quirks! Let me know if they are allowed on your furniture (and in the bed), and whether or not they can easily get on and off the couch on their own.
A typical day
I can’t wait to see where your dog likes to take his or her walks! If they like a specific route, please just let me know and I’ll be happy to accommodate! Or, if your pet is more of a homebody, I’m sure that we can have plenty of fun playing with toys or in the yard.

I am a Ph.D. student and typically work from home. My schedule tends to be flexible depending on the season. I do tend to book far in advance, so please get in touch with me early (even if your dates are tentative).
