Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life for the past 12 years and could not love them more. I love the energy they have and the unconditional love for us as humans and family. I am a full time firefighter looking to help take care of your dog on my days off. I have a 1 year old black lab puppy at home and I know how it can be a struggle leaving them home alone while you’re at work! I’d love to come give your pup some love and attention (and some exercise!) while you’re hard at work.

I will come to your home and exercise your dog as you’d like. I will take him/her for a walk, play fetch in the yard or simply let them out to do their own thing. Whatever your pet will enjoy, I am happy to do. I will feed them, pick up after they do their business and leave them in the crate or in the home. All walks will be done on leash and if we are in your yard, a fence is preferred.

Please inform me of any special needs of your dogs. My last dog had hearing and vision problems in his older years so I have experience handling this. I have provided oral medication to my dogs and can do so for yours. Please advise if any other needs out of the ordinary exist. I am happy to learn what your dog needs to make it easy for you, but I want to ensure that you, your dog and I are all comfortable with the situation.
A typical day
I love to play fetch with dogs and give them the returned energy they are giving off. I love walking with dogs, throwing sticks and balls for them to chase and showing them love and attention that they need to keep them happy.

Availability
I currently work two to four 24 hour shifts per week at the firehouse, meaning I will have at least 3-5 free days per week. My schedule does rotate, so I will need to plan ahead accordingly.
