Pet care experience
Hello, My name is Maureen. I've been dog/pet sitting for 6 years about and I've been bathing and grooming for 11+ years. I am a professional dog groomer in Fairfield at PetCo. I live in Bridgeport Connecticut currently but will be relocating back to Fairfield within the year. Not to worry, I always have plenty of time to spend with your beloved fur baby. If you need to be away longer, we can arrange a plan that works for the both of us and is fair! My rates are a bit high because I do my job to the fullest! My job is to provide you with the best service I can and that means meeting ALL of your directions for taking care of your beloved furry children. I can take care of dogs on holidays, and vacation times. Dogs who stay in my home need to be okay with being alone for a few hours if I go out with my family or if I go to the store. If your pet cannot handle long periods of alone time, please inform me, especially if they are puppies or elderly, or can get destructive due to anxiety. I will do what's best for your pet. I am determined to give you the best quality service I can. As I have stated above, I have 15+ years of experience with all animals from wild life to home pets. I have 11 years of professional bathing for both cats and dogs under my belt. I have loved all animals since I was a small child. I will provide active dog breeds with active playtime (hikes, ect with your okay first. I will never do anything like a Hike or a swim at a local lake without your permission and will NEVER keep dogs off leash. Pictures are always sent to you of your pup spending time with me, both on this app and if you request it via phone and or email. Maureen did a great job with Gucci. She was very communicative from the beggining when we were trying to find someone to take care Gucci in the last minute. She sent pictures all day showing Gucci having fun. She was flexible even if in case we needed to extend more time to have her babysit Gucci which was I beleive very important. Defintely we look forward to have Maureen babysit Gucci again. Thanks Maureen

Posting this review because Maureen is a good friend of mine. I use to work with her in a kennel, and you could see the individual care she put into every animal. She takes her time to understand stand your pet personally in order to make them and you as an owner comfortable as well. Did I mention she's a wonderful bather? She gave my dog possibly one of the best baths she ever had, and left her smelling good for a month. If you're considering using Maureen's services, definitely give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!
Maureen has a good relationship with all animals. She is a knowledgeable and loving caregiver. Maureen has been working professionally with animals since she interned in the animal care program at the Fairfield Audubon while in high school.

I only do reward based training, and redirectional training. I do not believe in hitting with objects such as newspaper and sandals (yes ive seen it before and it upsets me).
A typical day
Your pup and I will hopefully be the best of friends as I love going hiking! That's my most favorite activity and it's so much more fun with a furry friend by your side. I will NEVER allow your baby to be off leash or get close enough to another dog, even if yours is dog friendly. This is just to protect him/her.
