I have always been around animals since I could remember - growing up with dogs, going to horse camp, taking care of family or friends' pets (dogs, cats, hamsters etc.) while they were out of town, and now that I'm in college (and have to wait until I'm financially dependent and physically able to own my own dog) I go to the Columbia Animal Shelter 2-3 times a week to walk, play with, and socialize the dogs there. I recently fostered two 2 week old puppies that were abandoned and required hourly bottle feeding, cleaning, and loving. Family and friends have often complimented my patience and ability to work with even the more difficult-behavior animals, and I have had a lot of experience dealing with dogs of different temperaments at the animal shelter. I am a true dog person and would love the opportunity to take care of your four-legged best friend, and you can rest assured knowing they are in good hands.
