Pet care experience
I am a teacher in the Seattle area and love watching dogs in my spare time. My boyfriend's lovable boxer is often with me and we love to explore the city or go running all over Ballard together. He plays well with other dogs and is always looking for a companion. I am happy to care for your dog any week night or over a weekend when you are unable to travel with them. My home is three blocks from a dog park in Ballard and I am happy to take them to play with others. I am a true dog lover and would love to watch your dog while you're away!

Maura responded immediately to my request to board my English bulldog, Winston. She was incredibly flexible with my last-minute request. Maura's friendly and mature demeanor put me at ease after all of my other boarding options fell through. Maura sent me daily photos of a happy Winston. She attentively administered his ear drops and took time to play with him. I would definitely board with Maura again.
Maura is extremely great with our dog Mo and very responsible. She is knowledgeable about puppy care and full grown dog care, and we would (and do) trust her with our Mo any day. She is very accommodating and easy to work with - you'll be able to communicate your wishes easily and she will make sure your pup's needs are met!
I highly recommend Maura! She is an amazing dog sitter and has always taken great care of my 4-year old boxer - Sam. She clearly enjoys the time they spend together and frequently sends pictures of them going on walks and visiting dog parks. She even takes him to the pet store to get his favorite treats! Her caring nature and love for animals is evident in the way that she cares for Sam like her own. In fact, after spending time with Maura he often seems reluctant to leave! She has become my regular dog sitter and I can't imagine taking him to anyone else!

I like dogs that are personable and love being around people! A well behaved dog is very appreciated. I like to know in advance that your dog is up to date on their vaccinations. Please let me know if there are any habits of theirs I should be aware of (barking, chewing, gets into food, anxiousness) and would appreciate any training tips of practices you use when you're with them.
A typical day
I like to go on a daily run and love to take a dog with me! I love to run around Discovery Park or Golden Gardens. If your dog is not a long runner I am happy to take them on a walk around my neighborhood in Ballard or wherever your dog loves going. Your dog is welcome to sleep close to me on my bedroom floor or in the living room as well. I have lots of blankets and a very dog-friendly couch. I promise to give your dog a clean and safe environment while you're away. I can help ease the time you're away from your dog by sending you up to date photos with every stay.
