Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with animals, including a Lab, German Shepherd, hamsters, chickens, and ducks. I always loved spending time outdoors with my pets and enjoy pet boarding and dog walking to have some company while outdoors. I’ve boarded both dogs and cats and enjoyed all my experiences so far. I also have done drop in visits for my neighbors cats for years.

Maura is amazing! We left for almost two weeks for vacation and really were hesitant to board our dog Willow for that long given her fear with other dogs. Our dog walker recommended Maura, we met and it seemed like a great fit. Much more than I expected! She took Willow hiking, XC skiing and always sent us updates as to how she was doing! My mind was at ease knowing that Willow was with someone that we could trust and that took her on fun adventures too! Would recommend Maura for any doggo services you might need :)
Maura watched my two dogs lucy and Rigby while I was out of town on vacation. She did an amazing job walking them, playing with them and even giving lucy medication that she needed. My dogs are very anxious and loved Maura!
Maura is awesome with dogs. She’s grown up with them her whole life. She is very caring and nice. She is also very reliable. I have known her for 10 years now and I know she’s a great responsible person.

I stick to the pets home schedule as much as possible, following their cues and your instructions for care and when they need to be let out or clean the litter box.

Please let me know how your dog does with other dogs; I am comfortable handling reactive dogs but like to know ahead of time in case we encounter other animals.
A typical day
I’ve taken dogs running, hiking, and cross country skiing (always leashed!). If your dog is ok in a car, I love to drive to local walking paths and trails to get a good long walk in.

Availability
I am an RN and work 3 days a week. It differs from week to week but my days off tend to be in a row. Days that I’m off while dog sitting I can take the dog out every few hours and go on one or two longer walks, hikes, or play outside. I can accept same day drop ins or walks if I’m not working.
