Hi there! My name is Matti. I'm from South Africa, and spent my childhood with all kinds of animals. I'm passionate about dogs and their care--I fall in love with every dog I meet! I became a pet sitter because I love helping animals and the people who love them. I can't wait to meet you and your dog! I love dogs so much, that I've made caring for them my career. I currently work for a nonprofit dog rescue named The Right To Live--I run the Austin branch of the organization. I enjoy working there so much I often bring my work home with me, literally! I've fostered and adopted many dogs and have been through about 14 now. There's nothing better than helping a dog find their forever family. My home is great for pets because we do not own any fragile items or irreplaceable items (meaning any mischief or mess that occurs is not a problem).There is also a fenced in dog park in my complex. I am highly experienced in dog care and am comfortable working with dogs that have special needs. I've cared for dogs with heart worm disease, post operations and amputation, and even have comforted dogs that have severe anxiety and PTSD from abuse. I'm happy to care for pups with special needs, just let me know what I can do for you! I'm charismatic, resourceful, and happy. I am outspoken and confident in any situation. I am happy to talk to people and work with their (and their dog's) needs. I am also very good at coming up with solutions to various problems and I'm not afraid to ask for help when I need it.
