As an enthusiastic pet parent, I’m excited for the opportunity to meet your beloved family! I am an Approved Veterinary Assistant with Washington State, and have many certifications pertaining to the field; such as Level 2 Fear Free Certification, BLS/ALS certificates, and the knowledge and expertise to care for your pets. I grew up homesteading in Washington, living along with chickens, turkeys, and ducks, oh my! Always having had a calling for animal caretaking, in 2021 I decided to go back to school and dedicate my life to the caring of animals while undertaking an amazing opportunity to intern with PAWs Wildlife in Lynnwood. Since then I have worked at veterinary clinics to enhance my skills while exploring the beautiful PNW with my husband and our amazing rescue heeler Mango. Mattie was an excellent dog sitter of my 8 year old German Shepherd, and I would absolutely recommend her to take care of my dog again! She stayed in my home and was able to make my shy pup warm up quickly. She took her on plenty of walks and adventures over the weekend and I got plenty of pictures and updates. Everything (home and dog) was fantastic when I got back.
Mattie is a jewel and did a great job for us! It's important that we have pix and feedback often to make sure everything is ok and couldn't have been happier with our experience. She took our dog on several walks and kept us informed on her activities and schedule. I realized at 4am one morning I needed to book a dog sitter to stay at our house so I sent a request to Mattie, and she replied at 4am! We then met (with treats), and she watched our fairly high energy dog over the following weekend and stayed at our house. Mattie is smart, positive and very responsive to our needs.
Matiie is awesome! On time, reliable, willing to take Lexi to Marymoor dog park and local walks too!
Mattie is great! Lexi, my big Newf, liked her immediately. She came armed with treats for our meet and greet, and was comfortable walking a big, strong dog. She found my townhome quite easily, and arrived on time for Lexi's walk. Will definitely use her again!
