I just love dogs more than anything else! But unfortunately, I’m not able to have any of my own at the moment. That’s why being a sitter is a dream come true for me, though! I love being able to give a helping hand, and it makes me so happy to provide the love and affection pups need to thrive in the world. In addition to that, it’s great to provide owners with peace of mind when they’re away from their best friend. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pet, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! Although I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, my experience with pups doesn’t end there. I have lots of experience taking care of pups professionally, which included both walking and sitting. I’ve been lucky enough to work with dogs of all stripes, so I’m comfortable taking care of any kind of pup that comes my way. I’m also comfortable working with dogs with health conditions that require subcutaneous injections or medications. Giving pups as much TLC as they need is all in a day’s work! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that communication is the foundation of any great stay! Even before your pooch comes under my wing, I like to get as much information as I can about you and your pup. That way, we can chat about your care expectations and I can get a good idea about what makes your pooch as happy as possible early on. It’s great to be able to dream up some fun activities for us ahead of time. During the stay, I like to send detailed daily updates that include information on everything you’d like to be kept up to date on—from exercise times to meal prep. Of course, those will always include accompanying pictures so you can see how much fun we’re having together! Currently I have quite a flexible schedule and can make my routine work around your pet and our visit! Once my course starts I’ll be available morning and evening. I always go off of the owner’s instructions and make sure my care matches what the pet is used to. I am not afraid to send questions and updates to make sure your pet’s care is the best it can be!
