Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs all my life, along with having the privilege of taking care of my neighbor's dogs. We were lucky that our dogs were all great friends, so I would often watch all of them while my parents (and neighbors) were at work. More recently, I have gotten the chance to watch college friends' pets during crazy class schedules. My pets are back in Boston with my family, so I do not have any pets here in the city (yet!)

Being Matthews sister we have grown up with dogs our whole life. From golden retrievers to golden doodles. He brought our dogs for walks, fed them when no one was home, and cuddled them with the most love. I recently got a new puppy in 2020. He helped me raise her into the best girl ever.
Matt is responsible, reliable and kind. I have used him to pet sit our two dogs multiple times and he’s one of the few people I trust to be in my house. I have two dogs, they both love him and it makes it easier to enjoy my time away when I know my pets are well cared for. I highly recommend Matt for your pets!

Growing up in a suburb outside of Boston, I have had the privilege of walking dogs in a city along with a suburb. Specifically in New York, staying alert and focused on your surroundings is key, along with keeping the dog in close proximity when on busy streets. I also love bringing dogs to parks (especially Central Park) and letting them just play and run freely. However, it is important that "freely" still means contained and closely watched, and only when they are well trained to recall when needed.

I would love to know of any behavioral aspects of your dog that you find significant, and how they like to be walked. I feel some dogs love a very slow, leisurely walk, whereas some want to really stretch their legs out and get out some energy. Any information that will help me give your dog the best time!
A typical day
I love letting dogs experience all the sensory activities outside that they can. Letting them explore new smells and sights and grass around the city. I am also big in fitness personally and love providing exercise for dogs with high energy who need to get their zoomies out. I LOVE walking through central park with dogs, especially in the earlier mornings. I feel there are so many areas for dogs to explore and find new things to sniff and run around.

Availability
Recent college graduate, I'm currently working part-time, and my schedule is very flexible. My weekends are my prime dog-walking days, and I love doing early-morning walks, or late-night walks before bedtime.
