Pet care experience
I've had dogs and cats all my life. I grew up with large and small dogs and I provided most of their care. I'm very patient and loving with all animals. I have experience working with reactive dogs and can handle them well and without getting frustrated or handling them rough. I'm very gentle, patient, and playful. Skittish animals warm up to me very quickly and I can work with any animal.

First time using Rover. I wanted to find somebody that was nearby that could make sure my Beebs was fed while we did a 4 day backpacking trip. I messaged Matthew through the Rover app and he responded within 5 minutes. We set up a meeting and I explained that my kitty was shy and might not even come out for him. Matthew sent me a pic and said she even let him brush her adding that she was eating quite well after having dental work. I got the feeling that Matthew understands different animal personalities and does his best to care for our fur babies. I would highly recommend his services.
I have 2 rambunctious little corgis that I know can be a lot to handle. Matthew has been a big help, taking them out to walk and play while I'm at work. Now they no longer tear up my house while I'm gone!

I offer for dogs: walking/running the distance of your choice (can even send maps of route with a running app), feeding and watering while you're away, adherence to medical schedules, and even just keeping you pets company while you're gone. All my interactions are patient and loving. I want to make your pet feel comfortable and make sure they don't feel lonely while you're gone. I also know the last thing you want is a hyper animal when you get home so I make sure to play or exercise with them.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or if you have any specific requests. I don't have a preference for any specific type of dog. I have worked with large dogs, small dogs, reactive dogs, hyper dogs, and I'm comfortable with all of them.
A typical day
I have a 50ft leash that I can take to the park to play fetch, run around, or let them wander and smell while supervised. I can play with your pet (tug of war, chasing, etc). I like to walk on trails and at parks.

I'm currently working part time on the weekends while looking for a full time position. This leaves me with most weekdays open to look after pets.
