Pet care experience
I have raised and trained 2 dogs to be Agility Champions, Certified Therapy Dogs & Official Dog Scouts of America. I also volunteered at the Franklin County Dog Shelter for 5 years. In the past I traveled regularly for work and understand how difficult it can be to exercise and provide companionship for your dogs while being away. I instructed dog agility for 4 years and have hundreds of hours logged in dog handling, walking and obedience training. I will treat your pets with the care and love as if they were my own. I currently have a Rhodesian Ridgeback/GSD mix named Merlin. He loves running with me and we volunteer once a month comforting children with developmental issues. If your pooch needs a playdate we can have them meet so I can bring him along!

Matt is absolutely wonderful. I had a family emergency and was in need of a dog walker. Matt responded immediately. Matt is great with Greta (German Shepherd 2 yrs old) and she looks forward to her time with Matt. Matt has worked with Greta on her walking/greetings and general behavior and it has made a big difference. Matt treats Greta as if she was one of his own. I would highly recommend Matt.
I have known Matt for more than 10 yrs... I've know him through dog agility training classes and trials. He is a very experienced dog handler and trainer as well as someone who truly loves and enjoys dogs! I would not hesitate for a minute to use Matt for my dogs care!

I would like to know how they are on leash, how they get along with other dogs (while on leash). How they act when they see squirrels, cats, joggers etc. so I can make sure everyone is safe and if your pooch has any anxiety or is sensitive to anything.
A typical day
I can take the dog(s) to Wolf Park, Three Rivers Park or around the neighborhood. We have a large fenced in yard too!
