Great with dogs and very flexible
Pet care experience
I’m a college student who loves spending time with dogs. I grew up with two active family dogs until the age of 16, Yogi (30 lbs. sheltie) and Mashy (12 lbs. Pekingese). I volunteer a few hours a week to walk dogs for an elderly woman who can no longer do it herself. I am open to all dog breeds and sizes. My schedule is very flexible. I am willing to work with you and your dogs schedule to make sure your pup is always well taken care of. I am active and would love to play with your high energy dog or keep a more laid back dog company during the day or night. I hope to be able to help you feel good about your dogs care when you can not be there yourself.

Matt was our dog sitter for a several years and we were thrilled to have him care for our two golden retrievers because we knew they would be very well cared for. It was a treat for them and they loved seeing him too! They never had it so good. They knew they would be fed but also they would get to go for a walk, play ball, get their belly’s rubbed and be cuddled. But the tell tale sign for us was that when we came home from vacation, they were not stressed out as they were when they went to a kennel. Matt is everything you would want a caretaker to be. He is loving, reliable, conscientious, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Matt to anyone who desires their pet(s) to be treated as if it is their own pet. (Perhaps even better)
Matthew has taken care of my very needy and shy rescue puppy on several occasions. He exceeded my expectations and was able to quickly get my pup to warm up to him, which is no small feat considering her personality. In terms of services rendered, he provided the following; took my dog for walks (long and short), fed her and gave her water, and has stayed overnight with him on several occasions (one being for over a week). I trust Matthew to take care of my puppy, and he has gained that trust through great service, professionalism, and attention to detail.
