I have been around dogs my entire life. My wife and I currently own a JRT/Beagle mix (found wandering alone) and a black lab (adopted from a local rescue). We have a fenced yard and good neighbors. I commute to Jackson Co. for work and could easily check-in with a pet between New Market and Woodville, possibly even Scottsboro, on work days. Other locations and areas aren't off-limits. My schedule will be a little hectic until the end of October, but I'm currently free on weekends and evenings. Working as a wildlife technician, I come across many strays in the forest. It's difficult to not keep every one I find, but I at least put in the effort to get them to a shelter. I love all dogs and have become more interested in them over the past few years. We are currently remodeling our home so we won't be available for overnight stays or daycare until things have settled.
