I grew up with dogs and have always had a soft spot for them. My last dog came from the pound as a puppy and we trained him to walk off leash, sit, heel, and have no territorial bad behaviors; he now lives near the ocean with a very loving family and a big backyard! It was very tough to have him go, but I know he is very happy! Since I'm a dog lover, I miss the companionship and unconditional love that dogs will happily provide. We have our own home, but we also now own a wonderful, well behaved cat. I don't want to potentially upset the balance of our home by introducing a new dog just yet! As for me, I am married (almost 11 years now!) with two children, aged 9 and 6. I'm a full time EMT and I work 3 to 4 days a week. I have Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday open. I was hoping to do something that I think will be beneficial for my well being while providing some fun for your dog while you are away. I believe in dog care similar to Cesar Milan, so exercise for the dog is of utmost importance. Then during the walk, I will use subtle cues and corrections if needed to have a successful walk. I hope to return every dog home after they've spent most of their energy so they can rest easy until you arrive. If I am just visiting your dog in your home, I'll be sure to spend my entire visit solely interacting with him/her. I'm very open to doing whatever you would like for your dog during my time there.
