Hello there! My name is Matthew and my wife is Sydney. We both moved from Minnesota to Arizona back in June 2020. We recently purchased a home in Gilbert and are hoping to spend more time with the neighborhood pups. I've had a dog in my family since I was 6 years old. When I was 22 I got my first puppy, a Siberian Husky names Arya. And recently, Sydney and I rescued our little chihuahua mix, Teddy Bear. I'm used to caring for dogs in all aspects whether I was 10 years old feeding Thunder every day to working with Arya through her puppy stage walking her 3X a day and taking her to the dog park to meet friends. Also I'm sure you hear this but I want to reinforce that raising a husky is not an easy job.. lol. Sydney and I love taking care of our friends dogs when they need our help. Arya and Teddy always enjoy having more friends around. Arya is now a very calm and peaceful dog. Teddy Bear is a little over a year so he is till very curious and energetic. We recently bought a house in Gilbert and thought this would be a fun thing we can do together to support the community. I'm low-key hoping this helps me convince Sydney to get a third dog :-) We're good with high and low energy dogs and would love to meet and greet anyone who is in need of boarding or watching during the day.

Matthew and Sydney were absolutely amazing! I was so worried about leaving Peanut with someone since he is only 4 months old. He is potty trained, but with a doggie door and I wasn't sure how he would do. Peanut did great and got so many pictures! I will definitely use Matthew again for Peanut!
We love having Sydney and Matt watch our pup! They send lots of updates and pics and we know our dog is comfortable staying with them:)
Our puppy Tank had such a great time! Sarah and Matthew were amazing, lots of pictures and videos throughout the day :) tank was passed out once he got home! Already rebooked some more days with them!

We live in a safe suburban home in Gilbert, AZ near Guadalupe & Higley. We have a fenced in yard and there are a couple parks nearby we always walk our dogs. Our home in roughly 2,000 sq ft so there is plenty of room for the pups to lay down and relax when we're not doing something. We do have a pool and can make sure to be outside with your pups if needed or only let them outside on a leash. We feed Arya & Teddy together but can definitely segment food time as needed. While I'm working Arya and Teddy can roam the house although most of the time they are snoozing. But it's nice to work from home so I can take breaks to play with them/walk them and can let them outside to go to the bathroom as needed.

Please let me know everything you do with your dog(s) on a normal basis like feeding, walking and potty schedule. Do they need to eat alone? How often do they need to go outside? Where do they like to be pet? We want to make sure your dog has an incredible time at our house so please tell us how we can provide the most love for your baby(s). I'd always prefer we have a meet and greet just to make sure our dogs with all be safe and happy with each other.
A typical day
When we watch our friends dogs I love to go outside with them and watch all 4 dogs (2 are ours) run around and play with each other. I'm really big into tug-o-war (I'm pretty much undefeated). Sydney loves cuddling with the pups when they are tired. I always love laying on the floor with them. If allowed, we will go on walks and go to the dog park.

Availability
I work from home every day of the week with a very flexible schedule and Sydney is remote Tuesday-Friday. Typically with our own dogs I will play fetch with Arya & Teddy in the mornings and then take them on walks in the evening when it cools down. During the winter I will run Arya almost every day (I don't think Teddy Bear could handle it). And on the weekends we like to either wake up early to walk them or take them to nearby dog parks. We're happy to include your pups if allowed. We also have no problem caring for dogs who would rather chill and relax at home vs go run around.
