I’m a dog dad to a super high energy Jack Russell mix who loves to play. He gets along with every dog he’s met, and will make your pupper’s experience extra fun! My wife and I love to go to the dog park, go on hikes, and explore the city, so if you are looking for a dog sitter who will keep your dog active I’m your guy!

Matthew was great and very accommodating to my older dogs needs. He communicated with me during the walk and even refilled their bowls before leaving. Definitely will be contacting him again for any future walks!
Cece had a great time with Matthew and his dog Pepper! Matthew was super patient during the drop off process and let me hang around until Cece got more comfortable. He shared lots of updates and photos throughout the day. Thank you Matthew, Cece will be back!
What an amazing experience. First time using Rover and I lucked out with Mathew. He took better care of my puppy in the 3 hours they were together than I do all day. Puppy was so tiered when I brought him home he passed out by the front door didn’t even make it to his bed. I had constant videos and pictures of what he was doing the whole time and I don’t even think he had time to realize I wasn’t with him. Mathew is obviously very passionate about dogs and you can tell he loves them like they’re his own. Highly highly highly recommend.

We have a dog friendly apartment which is very close to several dog parks within the city. We typically crate our dog when we leave the house, but are able to provide a separate bedroom for your pup if they are not crate trained.

My preference is for a well socialized and playful dog because I have a Jack Russell mix who is very social and loves other dogs.
A typical day
On a typical day we’ll start the morning with a long walk, with a possible trip to the park. After we finish our walk we’ll head back to our apartment, eat and hang out while I do some work. In the afternoon we usually go for a walk, with another possible trip to the dog park, depending on energy levels. On the weekend if the weather is nice well head out into Marin headlands for a hike, or some other outdoor activity.

Availability
I typically work from home, with some exceptions, but I won’t accept the opportunity to watch your pet unless I’m able to be there 100% of the time. Being a dog dad myself, I typically walk my dog Pepper 3 times per day; usually 7am, 1pm and 8pm but that’s typically flexible.
