I have had a passion for all types of animals since I was a young child. When I was 15 years old, my labrador retriever had a faulty surgery which in turn led to his hind leg being amputated. The months of rehabilitation that followed is what initially inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, to ensure that all animals are treated with the care and love they deserve. Since then, I have had hands-on experience in a variety of settings with domestic animals, both large and small, as well as indigenous wildlife of Indiana, exotic species, pack walking (up to 10 dogs at a time), etc. After attending veterinary school at St. George's University in Grenada for a year, I decided to leave to pursue business in the pet industry, designing websites and inventing products.
