Pet care experience
When you board your dog with us you can rest assured that your dog will come back happy and tired. We live on a farm in Garrison, and with being recently retired at least one of us is generally home all day long. The dogs are our priority. Simply put we are dog people! We make sure the dogs are outside and able to run and play as much as possible while we are moving around the property.

Mathew did a great job with my fur baby. He sent me awesome pics throughout my dogs stay. His sweet dog got along well with mines, not to mention they made sure he got plenty of cardio in. I'm very amazed! Hurry! Don't wait to book with him!!

I have a fenced in area if your dog is not recall trained. I can also work on this while your dog is here. We also have several long leads and a ton of fetch toys for the dogs. I love working in basic obedience training, and while I don’t consider myself a “dog trainer” I have a very well trained German Shepherd. I really try and find ways to introduce training into every play opportunity.

Over the years I’ve owned many different breeds from low energy to high energy. I’ve had people aggressive and dog aggressive dogs. I’ve had dogs that needed special attention and medications. And I’ve had several dogs who lived their whole lives and sadly passed away. Just like humans all dogs go through seasons and phases and I’ve been through most with my dogs. If your dog needs anything special at all, I am certain we can provide it.
A typical day
We wake up at 430 every morning for our workouts. The dog goes with us to our home gym which is in an enclosed machine shed. She knows by now that the alarm means she gets to wake up and play fetch so there’s no sleeping in around here lol. From there we feed (1st of 2) and get on with the day. I am generally home all day working around the property. My dog goes everywhere with me if possible. She is free to run the property and I keep a watchful eye. We are far enough away from roads and neighbors that there really aren’t any issues.

I’m retired and home all day long. I have a very high drive and high energy 1+ year old German Shepherd and I make sure my dog is exercised during the day so she’s calm at night. A tired dog is a happy dog and a happy dog is a well behaved dog!
