Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs and cats most of my life. The last 5 or so years I have been out of my parents house and taking care of my own animals. I have two cats (19 & 3 years) and a dog (6 months). When I was younger I also had a few labradors that I helped my parents take care of. A couple of these labs made 11 more little labs. I also helped take care of these until we got all but one (which we kept) adopted. I also helped to organize a fraternity event in college called “Alpha Dogs” where we would bring dogs to campus for students to see and pet.

Matthew is one of the most passionate people I have met especially when it comes to his own pets and other pets we see while we are out around town. He truly treats animals like they are children keeping an eye on them and making sure they have what they need whether it be a walk or mental stimulus. One of the most amazing things I think he has done is care for his aging elderly cat Vader all by himself while he was getting two bachelors degrees from The University of Oklahoma in only four years! He loves animals and I would trust him to take care of any pet as he is so loving and caring.
Matt is a very responsible and loving pet caregiver. He has 3 fur babies and he gives them constant love and is very attentive to their needs. He’s watched my dogs more times than I can count and gives them just as love as he gives his own.

My apartment is a decent size on the inside, but allows for plenty of space for walking around the complex as well as nearby. There is also a park/open field just a couple minutes down the road. I take my dog their all the time. Speaking of my dog, he is a mini Aussie doodle that has so much love to give and a lot of energy to play. He loves meeting new friends to play with.

I am open to all breeds of dogs (and cats). I would like for them to be open to making a new friend and have not had any violence issues.
A typical day
There is a park nearby my apartment with a large area to walk around. My apartment has a dog park as well as more room to walk around. I also have a Mini Aussiedoodle for them to play with!

I typically work nights but only a couple nights a week. I should be available most days. Most available times would most likely be between mid morning and late afternoon.
