I have been raised around dogs, and training them since I was a child, I worked wth dogs professionally for 2 years. I've taken care of dogs, cats, and even some rodents in my time. I help put animals under my care at ease by being on top of things, and maintaining a calm collected demeanor. If dogs are feeling anxious due to lack of hierarchy, or just scared they have the possibility of being dangerous to themselves or others. These are easy enough fixes. Be calm when you first meet a dog, and be in control when you walk them. Not every animal is the same. But I find if you approach with calmness, and have patience then the relationship tends to go off without a hitch.
